Families facing a difficult period may receive free food or groceries from a Hawaii pantry or non-profit food bank. Most of the centers can provide some short term relief to the unemployed, seniors, and people faced with an unexpected crisis. Find pantries below, as well as a referral number at the bottom of the page . Many of the leading distribution centers in Hawaii are listed below. Food pantries can operate from churches, non-profits like the Salvation Army, or other charity organizations. While many are open limited hours, and may restrict who or how many times someone may receive free food, the locations will do their best to not turn anyone away from receiving help.
