Many Virginia homeowners need help paying their mortgage, or may be facing an imminent foreclosure. HUD approved housing counseling agencies are a great place to go to for help. An individual can meet with a counselor, discuss their financial situation, and learn about various solutions that may be available to them. A counselor can provide foreclosure prevention services, and direct individuals to mortgage assistance programs. Not only that, they will take a holistic view of the clients needs.
