Oswego, Lewis, and Jefferson County rental assistance.

Families facing homeless can seek rent help in Jefferson, Oswego, or Lewis County. Any type of emergency financial aid for housing is combined with case management in order to help the family break a cycle of evictions and/or homelessness. The primary sources of grants, loans, and other funding for rental assistance are listed below. Not only may an agency have some money for a portion of any back rent, but case managers also advocate on behalf of the working poor. All aspects of the crisis will be addressed as well. Whether it is unpaid utility bills which may lead to an eviction, or placement into long term section 8 housing as a subsidy, those may also be options in Jefferson or Oswego County. In addition, low income families should ask for help before they have an eviction notice from their landlord. The earlier that a resident seeks housing or rental assistance then the more options they may have for finding a solution.
