New Hampshire transitional housing programs and shelters.

Families that were evicted or that are homeless in New Hampshire can receive short term, transitional housing and other case management from several non-profits, charities, and government agencies. Housing programs are for single parents, veterans, the homeless, and others in the state. In addition to locating emergency shelter or short term housing, clients will be provided access to a number of case management services. They range from help in finding a job, financial literacy, food, and much more. Once a New Hampshire family goes through the different programs and is on a path to self-sufficiency, specialists will help them find and pay for a new, permanent home in the region. This can include low income, possibly government subsidized housing or section 8 apartments. Or explore resources for helping with rent or deposits on your new home. Some of the leading non-profits and government programs to call are below. Referrals, information, and other guidance is offered too. Or inquire into any eviction prevention or rehousing services.
