Dozens of agencies across Los Angeles County provide free baby supplies, including diapers, blankets, clothing and more to qualified low income families. The exact items an agency may offer will vary widely, as they depend on both monetary and financial donations from the community. Some of the Los Angeles County non-profits may even have baby formula, cribs, or similar, more hard to get items. As noted, these organizations depend heavily on the generosity and contributions from people across the region as well as local businesses. Therefore, if you can donate, please do so. The baby supplies that are contributed go a long way towards helping the less fortunate provide for their newborns and infants. Some of the leading Los Angeles based nonprofits that serve low-income and working poor families are below. Many of the centers will have restrictions in place on who they help. For example, an agency may only offer free baby items to single parents, the homeless, or maybe a veteran. Some only offered food, such as baby formula for a new born. The case managers and employees at the agencies listed below can provide more information on their programs. All of the programs are available to immigrants as well as non-English speakers. In order to get free baby clothing or diapers, some of the main agencies to apply at are below.
